Gianvitto Rossi perfected his craft for over 20 years under the tutelage of one of Italy’s most prominent shoe designers: his father Sergio Rossi. In 2007 he launched his own collection of women’s shoes and handbags, opting for a more feminine and elegant approach. Rossi is very attentive to materials and proportions in order to give his designs maximum comfort. This translates into shoes that are actually comfortable to wear—day or night—without sacrificing style.

Women who live and die for wearing excessively high stilettos, will be thrilled about Rossi’s Carbon collection, which uses the same carbon fibers developed for aerospace technology and racing cars. The thin silver heel comes in 50 or 100 grams depending on the style of shoe. Science and measurements aside, the most important thing to know is they are unbelievably light-weight and amazingly strong. No heel snapping here.

Modern design and technology was also extended to the lavish boutique space, designed by Studio Urquiola. The space features display panels in micro perforated burnished metal, retro lacquered glass panels, steel tables, a large velvet sofa and chairs, and herringbone parquet floors covered with a tone-on-tone silk rug in shades of pink—the main color throughout the space.Quote_transparent
