Opened in September 2007 on the Champs Elysées, Le 66 deftly works numeric magic: it’s open seven days a week (unheard of in Paris), sprawled across 1,200 square meters, stacked four stories high and has a minimum of 66 different designers on offer.

On the ground floor, the store hosts 66 products du jour, a vintage corner and OFR, an international bookshop for art-related books and magazines. Their basement selection rotates a carefully crafted selection of men and women’s clothing, posing as a serious threat to the seemingly impenetrable Colette. Meanwhile, featured labels are painfully fashion-forward: brands like Alexander McQueen, PUMA by Mihara Yasuhiro and Rudolf Dassler Shuhfabrik, El Ganso, Junk de Luxe and The Generic Man, among others, are the Q.E.D.Quote_transparent
